I said that I was going to try and post on a regular basis so here goes nothing. There isn't a lot going on around here other than working all the time. I will have Christmas Day off and the first of January, but other than that it is work, work, work.

On Saturday I will probably be going to spend the day with the boys. We are planning on spending the morning making cookies and candy. Sounds like fun. This is right up Christopher's alley because he loves to cook.

Mom seems to be doing better every day. She just found out the she has cataracts and she will be going to the the doctor the end of this month. She said that is the reason that she hasn't been able to see very well. She did tell me the they went out to a Mexican restaurant last week and that was good to hear. Slowly but surely she is getting better.

I have most of my Christmas shopping done. I have only a couple of gifts left to buy and then I get to shop for mom and Alan. It is just easier for me to do it because I know what the kids like. I will probably do some of it this weekend.

since I am getting scolded about updating I guess maybe I better try and get this thing done. It seems that I am never at home and I just can't find the time to be on the computer like I did before. So to all my readers I apologize. Maybe I will get better, no probably not.

Where do I start. Mom is at home and doing a little better. She still has a long way to go. The doctor told her it was going to be a slow come back and they were right. She is getting around better and she is talking more. She finally pulled out of some of the depression which has really helped her. She went to the doctor yesterday to discuss all the medicines she was on and they took her off some of them and changed some of them so we are hoping that will held with some of the things that she is going through. I as planning on going back up in a couple of weeks.

I had surgery on my thumb yesterday and things went well. I was back at work today. It was a little hard but I managed to make it through the day. The hardest thing is changing diapers and picking them up. You don't realize how much you use your thumb until you can't.

All the kids are doing good. Just staying busy with the holidays coming up. I spent Thanksgiving with Christy, Chad and the boys. The boys and I cooked while Chad and Christy worked. We are a late dinner.

The day after Thanksgiving Christy and I hit the stores and shopped. I had to go to work at 12 and she had to be home by 11 but we had a good time. She managed to get most of the boys Christmas finished and I did to. I also bought for myself. I bought me a new camera and a new television. It was nice just spending the morning together without children.

I am planning on trying to get the rest of my shopping done this weekend. It makes it hard because I am buying for Mom and Alan also. So I ma having to keep it all separate. They decided to let me do it since I like to shop. It is more fun spending their money.

I talked to Johnny last night and he said that mom had gone to the doctor and that only forty percent of her heart was working and that it was going to take a long time for her to come back. She is still in the extended care and they are doing physical therapy on her. It is just a slow process. Sometimes when I talk to her I can understand her and then other times I don't have any idea what she is talking about. Johnny thought that maybe she had a stroke but the doctor doesn't think so. They did some blood workup to check her medicine and to make sure that they are all working together like they are suppose to.

She said that she was coming home on Monday but that want happen. She is still not ready physically. I am going up on Thursday and spend the day with her and my sister. Maybe we will have more news then.

Christy and Chad are on there way to see Michael for the night because Christopher has to be in Birmingham at eight in the morning for an appointment for his hernia. The baby is with me right now but I will be taking him to Chad's dad in a little while for him to spend the night because I have to work tomorrow.

Chad has another flare up of his MRSA and he needs to go to the doctor but he hasn't. If he isn't careful he will be back in the hospital.

I go to the doctor tomorrow to have my thumb looked at. I am sure that they are going to want to do surgery. We will wait and see what they say.

Well, I better go and get some things done before the little one wakes up. Have a great week.

I have a few minutes to update so I decided to get it done before heading to work. I seem to say tired a lot but what do you expect with working to jobs and trying to spend time with my mom.

I went to see her on Sunday and she still has a long way to go. She is very depressed and we can't seem to get her out of that stage. I was there about five hours and I bet we didn't talk about forty five minutes the whole time I was there. We can't get her put of bed or get her to eat very much.

Johnny had the doctor come check on her yesterday and of course when he came in she sat up and was eating good and she was cutting jokes with him and as soon as he left she went right back into her shell. The doctor asked her if she has been up walking any and she told them that she couldn't walk and the doctor told her that she would be up today and she would be trying to walk with a walker. He told her that he sure wanted to get her home before the Alabama/Auburn game, which is in about three weeks. He told her that if she didn't get up and get on it that it wasn't going to happen. Johnny did say that they were going to regulate her medicine and see if that will help her out. We have a long ways to go. Just keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Christy took Christopher back to the doctor last week because he was having problems with the hernia that he had and they are now going to send him to the Children Hospital in Birmingham to make sure that there isn't any more problems. He goes on Monday.

We have had some rain due to the hurricane that came through. We needed some rain but the peanut farmers wished that it would hold off a few more days. Oh well, that's the way it goes.

What a busy couple of days. I have done a lot of driving and had a great visit with Michael. I got to Michael's around six and they were in the process of making chicken pot pie for supper. We sat down around seven and had dinner and then we looked at pictures that they had taken when they went to South Carolina with the boys (their dogs) and I showed them the pictures of my trip to Oregon. I was surprised with Michael because he knew a lot about Crater Lake. It was really good to see him and I think Christy, Chad, me and the boys are going to make another trip up there in about four weeks. I was surprised to see that he wasn't so stuck up with buying his house that he could not enjoy it but he wasn't like that at all. He has two dogs named Oakley and Dozer. They are labs. Overall it was a great trip just a little short but I will stay longer the next time.

I left Michael's around eight thirty and headed to the doctors office for my checkup. I got there around nine forty and saw the doctor and I had a great checkup. He said unless I have any more problems that he wanted me to have a great life and enjoy it. I wasn't worried about the checkup because I already had a good report before I went up.

On my way to the doctor office Alan called me and told me that mom was out of the hospital. I called her about an hour later and she told me that she did not think that she was going to stay home long because she was a lot weaker than she thought she was. She had a hard time getting into the house and Johnny has hurt himself and it was hard for him to get mom inside. When I called her she asked me to call her back later that she was waiting for a call from the doctor and of course they put her back in. She is having problems controlling her bladder and that is a concern to her. She is not sure what they are going to do yet other than they are going to do some physical thearpy to help build her strength.

There has also been some mistreatment by a couple of people and they have had to deal with that also. One of the employees was rough on mom when she was told that she had to finish moms bath because they moved her to another room and she wasn't very happy with the idea. My point is it doesn't matter if she likes it or not because that is her job. She said she was afraid to say much because she doesn't know how she will be treated. Mom has had several of the upper hospital employees in her room this past week to get to the bottom of the problem. My thought is they need to fire the girl on the spot as soon as they prove that she has mistreated a patient. This not the first time this has happened with this girl.

I am planning on writing a letter to the head nurse at the hospital. It may not do me any good but it will make me feel better.

I may go up this Friday. It just depends on how she is doing. If not then I will probably go up again on Sunday. Just keep her in your prayers and thoughts because she is going to need them. I am afraid that she is going to give up if she can't get her strength up and especially since Johnny is also not doing well.

I wanted to get this written before it gets to late and I also need to get busy on my costume for Saturday. I haven't even started it yet and I need it by Saturday evening. I guess I better get busy. Enough on that.

Mom is doing rally good. They moved her to a room the first of the week and they are talking about her being able to go home in a few days. She is still having trouble with retaining fluid. Johnny told me that she was even losing fluid through on of her arms and they were having to keep a bandage on it. They don't seem to be to concerned about it. They also said that they will probably be able to control he heart problem with medicine. That is good to know. She is in no hurry to get out of the hospital, which is unlike her. She can't stand to be away from home and her dogs. Just continue to keep her in your prayers and thoughts.

Tomorrow is my long day. I have to work my regular job and then off to the bowling alley. I went by there on Wednesday and we had our lights put in for our cosmic bowling. It looked really cool. We can do different kinds of music. Maybe it will help getting people in the alley because everyone we have talked to in the past few weeks thought we were closed and we never have been.

Well here goes another day. It has been a long day. We left this morning around eight-thirty and headed to moms. We had to go get Riley a movie and then some breakfast. Then we were off.

Alan said that he really had a hard time going this morning because he was afraid that she was just waiting to see him and she was just going to give up. This is going to be hard on all of us but we will take one day at the time and just pray that she will get better.

She was better this morning than she was at the beginning of the week but we still have a long way to go. She ate pretty good today and this is the best that she has eaten in several days. That was very encouraging. She is still retaining fluid which is not good. They had to up her medicine to get the fluids out. She is getting it every four hours. She is having a hard time remembering things and I think that upsets her more than being so sick. I think that part of that is from the medicine.

She was trying to tell me something this afternoon and she just got really frustrated when she could not remember what it was or how to explain it. I hope that will get better as she gets stronger. It is going to be a long haul.

I talked to Johnny after we got home and he promised me that when he found out something from the doctor that he would let me know. Johnny said that if he was not able to talk to a doctor in the morning that he was going to go hunt the doctor down and get some answers and he will. Not knowing is very hard. Mom told us today that the heart doctor told her that if her heart rate stayed as good as it has for the last few days that they may consider putting her in a regular room. I just what them to do what is the best for her.

I sure hope that my tomorrow starts out better than last week. It has been a long week. I will be off next Monday to go to the doctor in Birmingham for my final checkup for the cancer. I am going up on Sunday night and spend the night with Michael. I am looking froward to that. It will be good to see them. We have also talked about doing Christmas at his house this year. We will talk about that later on.

Well, I better get off her and hit the sack. Tomorrow is a long day with work and bowling. GO BAMA!!! They are still undefeated.

I thought I would update on my mom so those who read and care will know what is going on. I talked to my sister this afternoon and her heart rate is still up and she is still in ICU. They said that they could possibility shock the heart but they don't really want to do that because of here breathing problems. It is going to be a long road this time but we will take it one day at a time. She has started eating a little. They gave her something for anxiety on Tuesday night because she was afraid to go to sleep because she was afraid that she would forget to breath. Johnny told me that Wednesday morning that she looked better because the dark circles were gone and that she looked rested.

Alan and I are planning on going up on Sunday. He was going to go up on Saturday but I talked him into waiting until Sunday and I would go with him.

I did my post bowling on Wednesday and the first two games were not so great. I bowled a 103, 107, and then on the third game I blew it away with a 180. I was shocked with myself.

Tonight was a busy night because we had our fall festival at school tonight and I ended up in the obstacle course helping children up the wall to slid down on the other side. I told my boss there was a reason that I signed up for the popcorn machine and that was because I was to old to be pushing and pulling all those kids and that I was going to be to sore to come to work tomorrow. Yea right> I will be there but I probably will be one sore girl. I had to show them that I wasn't to old to give it a try myself. The first time I didn't make it and down I went but then I gave it another try and I did it. Hurray for me and I will be paying for it tomorrow.

Well, I better get myself up from here and get myself ready for bed. Have a great weekend!!!!

What a busy couple of days. This is going to be short and to the point because I am tired and ready to hit the sack, but I wanted to let you know how thisngs went with Christopher. His surgery went well and he is doing grsat. He was not happy with them when they told him that he had to pull off his underwear. He told them that he wasn't going to take his underwear off and they let him wear them int surgery and they took them off after he went to sleep. When he got into the recovery room he tried to stand up in the bed. He was ready to get out of that place. They finally got out of there around eleven thirty.

I was at the hospital when I received a phone call from my step dad about my mom. He took my mom to the emergency room early Monday morning. When they got to the hospital the doctor told Johnny that he did not think she would make it through the day. She was retaining fluid and was swollen really bad. The did an EKG and it showed that she had a heart attack but they did not know how long it had been since she had it. They also said that she has congestive heart failure and pneumonia. She was one sick lady and she still is. I left yesterday around noon to go check on her. She got unto me for not being at work and I told her that my work was taken care of and I was right where I needed to be. She had a good night and when we came in this morning she looked a hundred percent better. They gave her a lunch tray and took her off of clear liquids so I sure hope she is on the mend. They had to give her medicine to get her heart rate down because it was staying around 155 and they want it under 100. Within a couple of hours it dropped to 145 so we were encouraged about that. Little by little she is getting better and we will take what we can get.

I know that the more times she has these issues the closer we come to losing her and that is why I cherish every moment I have with her because I don't know how much longer I will have her. She was so bad this week that Johnny even went to talk to someone at the funeral home to get some idea how things would work out. We know that sometime we are going to have to facew this issue but for now she still has some fight in her.

She has got to be one of the strongest woman that I have know in my lifetime and I hope that I could be half as strong as she is. She is special, shes my mom.

Hey everyone. The weather here has gotten cooler and it is a nice change from the hot weather. The bad thing is that the wind is blowing and making it a lot cooler than we like. We can handle the cold but not the wind. These Bama people don't do wind well.

Tomorrow is Christopher's big day. He will be having surgery around seven in the morning. He is not excited at all. They have to be at the clinic by 5:30. I will head by there in the morning before heading to work and check on him. I will probably be there by seven.

Dennis, I have not met the man from Mobile yet. It is in the planning stage. I first have to make a trip to Mobile and right now there is no time to go. I am a busy woman right now between bowling, work, work, and more work. I will probably go down around the middle of November if it works out. I will be sure to let you know if it works out.

My mom hasn't been doing real well. She is having a really hard time with breathing. She went to the doctor on Monday and she still doesn't sound any better. She promised that if she wasn't any better that she would go back to the doctor. She says that she doesn't like to go to the doctor's office because there is to many sick people and she doesn't want to get any worse. I told her that she needed to get better so that I could come over and take her out to eat at Chili's. So maybe by the end of the month. Even if we don't get to go eat I am still going to head that way with in the next couple of weeks. It has been awhile since I have been over there.

Jason and Michelle have gotten settled into their new place and Jason seems to like this store a lot better. I sure hope it works out for them this time. They are about the same distance as before but in the other direction. I will have to make a trip there before to long also. In two weeks I will be going to Michael's to spend the night. I have to go to the cancer doctor in Birmingham on Nov.1st so I am going to spend the night with Michael. I have a lot of traveling coming up with in the next few weeks.

Bama is doing well again this year so far. We still have some hard teams to play. GO BAMA!!!!
I was listening to the game on the radio and telling everyone at the bowling alley what the score was.

Everyone else had a busy weekend except for me. I was going to go to a wedding but I found out on Friday that it had been postponed until November. I told them it was nice of them to let me know. So instead I decided to go look for me some work pants. I did find some at Burks and it was the cheapest that I found them so I bought three pair so I am now set for work. So other than that my weekend consisted of working and church.

Jason and Michelle got moved on Sunday and they are in the process of getting things squared away. I told them if they had told me when they were planning on moving in that I would have helped them out but no one told me so I just went to church. I talked to them on Sunday night and it sounded like they had everything under control.

Christopher will have his surgery on Monday morning and that little guy sure isn't looking forward to it.

We are suppose to be getting some cooler weather bu this weekend. They say that is going to be in the forties. Time will tell. You never know what it will be here. I think most of us are ready for some cooler weather considering it was in the nineties today and very humid.

It looks like I may be making a trip to Mobile in a few weeks. My first cousin and my aunt want me to meet a guy that is retired from the Coast Guard. They tried to get him to come the day we were all at the lake but it didn't work out. So I think I will make a trip down there to meet him. Who knows if it will lead anywhere or not.

Well, this southern gal is going to call it a night and yall have a great day and look for more updates coming.

I guess I better do some updating since I haven't done any in while. With working two jobs and other things that have been going on I just haven't had time to do any updating.

I guess I will start with me. I have joined an adult/child league at the bowling alley on Monday nights. We bowled Monday night and we had a good time. I didn't do to bad. My scores were 105,118, and 138. Not to bad for an old woman. I bowled against one of my co-workers, which was even more fun.

Jason and Michelle are moving again. This time they are going to Florida. They will be moving to Tallahassee this coming weekend. It has been an ordeal. It will be a little closer than Montgomery but not much. Maybe this one will work out. The company is going to pay for their expenses to move but they still have to come up with the man power to get the truck loaded. It looks like they will be loading on Saturday evening and driving here on Sunday.

Christy has to take Christopher to the doctor on Friday to see about having surgery on his hernia. His surgery will be on the 16th of this month. What a way to spend her birthday. I am going to take her out tomorrow for lunch for her birthday.

I talked to Michael on the computer this morning and he is doing well. I am planning on going up there on November 1st and spend the night. I have to go to the doctor on Monday the 2nd so I want have to get up as early. It will be good to see them. I haven't seen them since Christmas.

I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. My niece is getting married at a park in Ozark. I sure hope it doesn't rain. The wedding is at ten in the morning. The dress code is come comfortable and that is what I plan on doing. Maybe I will even try for a little sexy look.

WELCOME HOME DENNIS!!!

I had a busy weekend. It started off not so good. They put Benjamin in the hospital because he had croup. He only had to spend the night but that was enough. He seems to be doing better. After getting him out of the hospital we headed to the lake. We cooked out and played in the lake. The boys had a great time tubing behind the boat. Christopher was the first one to go and he loved it and then they asked Jonathan if he wanted to go and he was a little scared and of course Christopher called him a chicken. After that Jonathan decided to try it and he said it was fun but a little scary. Both of the boys road a couple of times.

We ended up staying the night and then we got up the next morning and headed to Montgomery to go to Savannah's birthday party. She turned two and she had a Dora party. We spent about two hours there and then we had to head back to Dothan because I had to work Sunday night. It was a busy weekend but a fun one.

I worked a long day yesterday and I have another one today. After I get off work I have to head to the bowling alley.

Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor and I am sure she is going to get on me about my test results that I had done last week.

I just need to get my self motivated again and it is so hard to do. I know that I can do it, it is just doing it.

Today was a short day at work since I had to go to the doctor. My checkup was good. The doctor was pleased to find out everything I had done in the past year. He told me that I was up an all the things that needed to be done. The only thing that he suggested was that I might check into a bone density test. I called and my insurance will not cover it so I am going to talk to the doctor next week when I see her and see what she says obout it and there may be a way that the insurance will cover it. I will have to do some checking into it.

After leaving the doctors office I headed to the boys school and picked them up. They were not expecting me. We went out and had ice cream and then we went to the store and they got them a toy. They were surprise to see me. I don't get to do that much because of my work schedule.

I have a couple of busy weeks coming up. Next Saturday we are going to the lake to spend the day at the lake with Aunt Mary and several other family members. I am trying to get my brother that lives in Montgomery to come and then all of us will be together and that hasn't happened in a long time.

The following week we will be having anniversary Sunday at our church. E will be busy with helping children with the activities that we will have going. We will have clowns, train rides, pizza, snow cones, obstacle course and moon walks. It will be a fun day for them, but a busy one for me.

Then to end up the busy weeks, I will have a wedding to go to for my niece. She is getting married at a park and it is in the morning so I will be able to go. I will have to go to work after the wedding.

I have been looking at some houses on the internet. I had a lady call me today about checking into it more and I told her to give me a month to think about it and I will let her know. I would love to be able to get into one later on next year. I will have to leave it in God's hand. He knows what is best for me and I just need to wait on Him. I think that I am ready to take on being on my own. It will be a big step for me but I think I am ready.

Christopher is going to have surgery. He has a hernia in his groan area. He is not happy about it. The doctor told them to bring Benjamin in and he would check him at Christopher's pre-op.

Well. I better get off here and get my water ready for the night and hit the bed. I have to leave early tomorrow to have some blood work done.

What a weekend...Christy and I went to a big yard sale that sold children clothes on Saturday without any children. We were able to get a few things for the boys but not a lot. We then went ot a Mexican restaurant to have lunch and then back to the sale for the half price items. We headed back to the house and Chad picked her up there. After she let then it was off to work for me.

Work was very boring this weekend. We were not busy Friday or Saturday. Business was really slow. I have picked up another day for awhile. I am working on Tuesday nights because they have a league going on.

I went to see the boys on Sunday after church. They did not make it to church because Jonathan has been sick. He has run a fever all weekend. He was doing better afternoon. Christopher goes to the doctor on Thursday to see about getting his hernia repaired. He is not looking forward to that.

I may end up going to the doctor about my thumb. I am going to try to wait for awhile but I know it is not going to get any better.

Dennis, I am glad to here that yo are having a good time. You better watch out eating all that food. You are going to gain back all that you lost. How long is it going to take before she will be able to come to the states? I am glad that you have found someone that you think that you can be happy with.

What a great vacation that I had. It was nice weather until the day I flew back home. I enjoyed being with Julie and spending time with her. She had to work some while I was there but that was okay because we did get to spend some quality time together.

I took a trip to the coast with Dennis the first week that I was there and he told me about going to Korea to see Nora.I told him that I hope that he finds what he is looking for but to keep an open mind and to make sure that is what he really wants.

Then on the weekend Julie, Greg, and I headed to Crater Lake. What a beautiful place. It was just breath-taking. I took several pictures and I could have just sat there and looked at the water for hours. We had lunch there and again the weather was great. We then headed down to Diamond Lake to set up camp. The first place we were going to camp out was right on the water and it was cold, so we looked for another spot and we found one that was a little further down on the lake and it was in the trees more. We set up camp for the evening and it was fun. I was cold at night but I made it through. It was better than I thought it would be. We had fun watching the birds eat out of the frying pan the next morning. We fixed breakfast sandwiches an there was eggs left in the pan and the birds helped themselves. They also helped themselves to the glass of Pepsi that was on the table. They were not afraid of anything. We also had several chipmunks that visited and was looking for food to. It was fun just watching the wildlife while we were there. We left the camp sight after eating lunch and we headed down to check out some waterfalls. We were going to go see six of them and three of them were closed due to damage to the trails. But is was fun.

I spent a couple of days while I was there bowling. I am trying to improve my bowling skills. It is getting better and for a dollar a game who cares if it does or not. It was fun while it lasted.

My flight home was okay. The weather was rainy. My flight to Chicago was good ohter than being about fifteen minutes last and I had to hurry to get to my next flight and of course it was on the other side of the airport. That is the way it goes. I was going to get something to eat and I did not have time to do that. After getting to my spot the plane that we were getting on was waiting to pull in and again we were twenty minutes late boarding and I would have had time to grab a bite to eat, but you never know.

After loading I was sitting next to an older man who bought himself a mixed drink and his tray was broke and the drink slid right between us and soaked my leg. I ended up smelling like whiskey. What a joy.

We finally arrived in Birmingham and of course wouldn't you know it, they lost my luggage. Mine wasn't the only one, there was about five other passengers that did not have luggage either. I finally got my luggage Sunday afternoon.

Suday evening after church my two older grandsons spent the night with me. We rented a couple of movies that they wanted to see and headed home. Monday was our day. We went to Chick-Fil-A for a free sandwich and that place was packed but it was worth it. The three of us at for under six dollars. Then we headed to the bowling alley and they were closed until three so off to Wal-mart and of course they ended up with a couple of toys. We headed to the bowling alley and we bowled one game and they played some of the arcade games. Then back to the house. We had a really good time.

Tomorrow is back to reality. It is back to work and getting back into the routine. It was great to go on vacation and I am not ready to go back to work but all good things must come to an end especially if I want ot continue drawing a paycheck.

This is going to be short and sweet because I need to get myself in bed because I have an early day tomorrow. It probably want do me any good to go to bed since I haven't been sleeping very well. That's life....

I went to the doctor yesterday and they stuck it to me. I was having some trouble with coughing and my chest being tight and she gave me a shot, an antibiotic, an inhaler, and then something for my thumb. By the time I finished with the doctor and the medicine I spent over eighty dollars. But it was worth it if it meant that I wouldn't be sick on my vacation.

Well, I told you that this would be short and sweet. I am going to go brush my teeth and try to get some sleep. Probably not. See you guys in Oregon in a few hours.....

Today is hump day. I only have three more days to work before I leave for Oregon. It will be a nice vacation. My boss told me yesterday that she sure wished that I wasn't going on vacation next week because she sure could use me in the office. To bad.... I do feel kind of bad for them because they hired a girl to work in the office and she trained on Monday and she4 e-mailed my boss and told her that she didn't think she could handle the job. Now they have to hire someone else and it puts them in a bad spot with no evening supervisor. I tried twice to get that job and both times they gave it to someone else so I didn't even try this time. I am sure it will be opened again before long. It is hard to get someone to work until seven. Enough on that.

The boys started school on Monday and Christopher is very excited. Jonathan not so much because he knows that this requires work and study. Christopher is more worried about having enough lunch. He makes sure that his mom has packed him enough to eat.

I think that Jason and Michelle are coming down this weekend to bring Savannah to Carol and Robert for the week and I told them that I wouldn't see them because I would not be home that I was going on vacation. Michelle has a hard time keeping her kids with her all the time. I told her that before they moved that she was going to miss not being able to let her kids go spend the night with family all the time. She said that she needed a break. I don't understand that because she doesn't work.

I am going to go to the doctor this afternoon and make sure that I am not coming down with something and see if I can get something stronger for my cough. I don't want to be sick on my vacation.

Dennis, I did not get my thumb stuck in a bowling ball. It is my left thumb and I don't bowl with that hand. Maybe I will have it checked out at the doctor's today too.

What a busy night we had last night. It stayed busy the whole time that I was at work last night. I didn't get home until 12:45 and then it took me over an hour to get to sleep. I just laid there and coughed. I spent the biggest part of the time just hacking and then I finally got to sleep then I had to go to the bathroom. After going to the bathroom I went back top sleep and my alarm went off at 8:15. I sure didn't want to get out of bed. But I finally got up after laying there for several minutes. I got a shower and then I headed to McDonald's to grab a biscuit and a tea before heading to church.

After church I came home and fixed me a sandwich for lunch and just relaxed for awhile. I then decided to head to Wal-mart to pick up some cough medicine and some things for my trip. I wanted to get there before the rain came in and so far we haven't had any but it is coming according to the news. We have a tropical depression come in and they say we should get anywhere from three to six inches of rain. They are tracking two more that could be coming our way. I sure hope it doesn't mess up my travel plans.

I guess I am going to end up going to the doctor with my thumb. It has been bothering me for a couple of months and it is not getting any better. I may try to get an appointment this week or I may wait until I get back from my vacation.

The boys started school on Friday and Christopher is so excited. Jonathan isn't excited at all. He would be content with just staying home. He says it is to much work in school. I am sure that once he gets into a routine things will be good.

My first week with my new class is almost over and so far they have been pretty good. There is always rough times as they are getting use to a new teacher and the same goes for the teachers. The other four year old teacher told me today that while she was camping this past weekend that she ran into one of my students that would be going into kindergarten and that her mom spoke highly of me. That made me feel good. Her girl was one of my favorites. It was good to hear that I made a difference in a child's life. The rewards are great working with children.

After finishing work on Friday I will then head to the bowling alley for the rest of the evening. I also work on Saturday night but after this weekend I will be off for the next three weeks. I am going to enjoy my time off but I sure will miss having that check.

I think that the boys, Christy, and Chad are going to go bowling on Saturday. If they go early enough I may go with them, depending on how much I get done on Saturday. I have a lot to get done before I leave the next week.

I think that I am going to do the mixed bowling league. I am going to ask about it this weekend and then I will decide if I really want to do it. I think that it might be something fun to do. A lot of it depends on whether I have to work or not. They are doing a men league on Tuesday nights and I would like to work it but we will see how it goes.

Well, I better get off here and check my mail and then I am going to look around on the internet. I am going to look for jobs, just to see what is out there.

I probably want write before the weekend so have a great weekend and be sweet.

It is about 8:50 and I decided to get a little written before it was time for me to get ready for work. Eight more days of work and I will be off for two weeks. I will enjoy my time off.

I got up this morning and I had to wake Riley up for school and of course he missed the bus again. I had to take him to school yesterday because he said they would not let him on the bus without a bus form but I have a hard time believing that.

I took the boys Monday evening to get the holes drilled on their bowling balls. They were so excited, especially Christopher. Then we headed to the bowling alley. Jonathan did really good. He bowled a 67 on his first game and a 83 on his second. Christopher bowled a 56 his first game and quit on his second on so Jonathan finished his. I bowled a 144 on my first and a 122 on my second. I could not believe how much difference there is with your own ball. They had a really good time. I think we will try to go one more time before I go on my trip.

Not a lot going on around here other than working. I went to work yesterday and found out that the other four year old teacher has put in her notice. It was a real surprise. It seems like everyone is snapping at each other. It makes it hard to go to work sometimes.

Well, I guess I am not doing any better than I was. I just get busy on the computer and time slips away from me. Like tonight, it is almost time to get a shower and hit the bed and what am I doing trying to get caught up on my blog. I know that I have no excuses.

All is doing good here. The weather is going to be in the upper nineties, so it is going to be hot for the weekend. At least it is not as bad as it could be. I guess we need to keep a positive attitude about it.

I have not slept well the last few days. There is a lot going on at work and I have been trying to figure out how to handle it. We start our new class on Monday and I hope as we start things will get better or I may end up looking for something else within the hospital. I am afraid that I am getting burned out on being with children. My problems at work are not the children it is the co-workers.

At our open house tonight one of our parents that I have not seen for a couple of years kept looking at me and she said there is something different about your eyes and I told her that I had surgery on them and she told me that they really looked good. I can tell a difference but not as much as other people do.

I am counting the time when I get some time off. I think it is a much needed vacation. I
hope that I will be able to go back to work and things will have calmed down some.

Now for some more exciting news. I purchased Jonathan and Christopher a bowling ball for them to use in the fall to bowl with. They are going to bowl on a league. Jonathan's ball is red, white, and blue with silver glitter and Christopher's is a fireball. It has yellow, red, and black mixed. When I told the boys they were a couple of excited boys. We are going o Monday evening to have the finger holes put into them and they are going to get to help the guy that is going to do it. Christopher was more excited than Jonathan. When I called and told him that I had his ball I had to move the phone from my ear because he screamed so loud. I am sure that after we get the holes put in that we are going to have to go to the bowling alley and try them out. I will let you know how it turns out.

I was able to spend a few minutes this past Sunday with Mason and Savannah. Jason and Michelle came down to visit her sister and her new baby. I had all five of my grandchildren here at the same time. It wasn't for very long but I will take what I can get.

Well, as it is after ten I think that I better call it a night and hit the bed. Maybe I will get some sleep tonight.

It's Friday and what does that mean to me. Not much since I have to work tonight and tomorrow at the bowling alley. But for others it means they get a couple of days off.

I had a great birthday. I was surprised by Christy as she sent me flowers and they are beautiful. One of my parents gave me a pair of pearl earrings and then I ended up with almost $140 in cash. Cash is always good. I am going to use part of it for my trip and some of it I am going to use on me. I got a couple of small gifts from some of my co-workers. It was a good day. I was going to go out to eat for supper but I decided that I would just go home instead because I would have to go by myself.

Today at work were are having a bike bash with the kids. the weather doesn't look like it is going to cooperate with us today. We have had rain everyday for the past week and as I am writing this it is raining again. Maybe it will let up enough for the kids to be able to ride their bikes. They are raising money for child obesity so they are riding laps with their bikes to raise money. It should be fun. The children get to decorate their bikes for a contest and we will have Popsicle, drink, and other things for them. I get to come in after they get started so it should be fun trying to find a place to park.

I got my stitches out yesterday and the doctor said things looked good. He asked me about the bruising and I told him that I had very little. He said there was still some swelling and that he wanted to see me back in six weeks.

I woke up from a terrible quickly from a bad dream. I dreamed that Christy, Chad, and the boys were in a car accident and they had to air lift Chad, Christy, and Jonathan and one of the other boys had gotten killed. It was a terrible dream and I was so glad that it was only a dream. Needless to say that there was no going back to sleep after that. So I just got up and got ready for work.

Work was okay today. Just another day. We are in the process of getting ready for our new group of children to come in. They will start on the 10th of August. We have nineteen on roll as of right now and we can only have eighteen in our class. It is going to be busy year.

Well, I feel better now. I just got out of the shower and waiting for my hair to dry a little before heading to bed. Tomorrow is another day but not to busy.

Dennis, I did like the three minute movie that you sent. It was really cool and I sent it to my sister and a couple of friends. Thanks a bunch, I needed that.

I went out with some of my co-workers tonight. We went to a Mexican restaurant and I had a grilled chicken salad. It was really good. We all had a good time just talking and being with one another away from work. We will do it again around Christmas. It helps boost our morale.

Well, I guessed I lied. I said that I was going to be better at updating and I sure haven't done it. I do apologize to my readers for that. I am not going to promise that I will do better because I will probably end up eating my words again.

I worked twenty hours this weekend so it has been a very busy weekend. I guess the doctor did his job making me look in my thirties because I had a 26 year old hit on me at the bowling alley Friday night. He wanted me to meet him after work and I told him I wasn't interest that I have children older than him and of course he threw me the line that I didn't look that old. I told him that I appreciated the compliment but it wasn't going anywhere. If nothing else it was a good ego builder.

It is going to be a busy week. Tomorrow night part of my co-workers are going out to eat. We are going to a Mexican restaurant. It will be good to just relax with friends.

I get my stitches out on Thursday and that will be good since the ones on the corner of my eyes are bothering me. They itch a little but the worse thing is that they feel like they are sticking me in the eyes. I will be glad to get that done.

Today is the day...

Today is my surgery day and I did not sleep well last night. My mind had all kinds of thoughts in it. I think it was because of the surgery today. I am up showered and waiting on Christy to get here. I have to be at the surgery center at 7:30 and it is only five minutes from where I live.

The doctor told me that the surgery would only take about thirty five minutes so I am hoping to be back home by eleven. They are pretty good about getting you in and out of the surgery center.

No breakfast this morning until after the procedure. I will probably end up taking Christy out to eat afterward depending on how I feel. I know that she want get up and have breakfast because she is not a breakfast eater.

Another day gone...

Today I got up and headed to Mcdonalds and had a biscuit and a glass of tea and then headed to work. Today was hot and humid but not as bad as it could be in July. We had a few showers this afternoon so it cooled things off a little.

I took the kids that I work with on their field trip. We went to the bowling alley where I work. Some of the kids did not believe that I really worked there so they asked the manager. We had a good time. But as the fun came to an end we headed back to the center to have lunch and to finish out the day.

After leaving work I headed to the tanning bed to relax. Then I headed home to get ready for church. After getting ready for church I headed to the mall to look for a white skirt and I had no luck finding one. I have been looking for one for several days and I can't find any that I like. I guess I will keep searching.

I work my regular shift tomorrow and then I am off Friday and Monday. I will find out tomorrow what time I need to be at the surgery center on Friday. I hope that I can have it done early.

My weekend has been pretty good. I worked Friday night and as I started cleaning I found a twenty dollar bill on the floor. Yea for me. I stuffed it back for my trip.

Saturday was busy at the bowling alley. We even had a waiting list for people to bowl and that has never happened since I have been there. The manager's wife asked me if I was going ot stay with them and I told her that I wasn't sure yet. That I did not like working every weekend because I didn't get to spend time with my boys.

I did put my application in at CVS and we will see if they offer me a job and I also asked for more than I make at the bowling alley. The other girl that I work with told me that she did not want me to leave and that she was going to call the boss and see if she can get me a raise. We will see if that happens but that still does not mean that I will stay there.

I talked to Christy today and the baby has pink eye. They sent me a picture and he looks miserable.

I am going to see about getting my car refinanced. My first cousin works at a bank and I am going to see what she can do for me. I will probably give her a call tomorrow afternoon. It would be nice if I could get the interest rate dropped some.

Well, I better hit the bed, I have a busy day tomorrow and I have to be at work earlier because I am working with the school age children for the next three days. It will be a nice change.

The weekend is here...

Good day to yall!!! I thought that I might as well get this written before heading to work since this is my long day. I will leave my main job and head to the bowling alley for my other job. It makes for a long Friday. But that is okay because I have extra money to do with as I please. There isn't much going on around here other than work. The weather has cooled off a bit. We were only in the eighties yesterday but that was because we had rain come in which we really needed.

After leaving work a little early I headed to the tanning bed for relaxation before heading to Cottonwood to spend the rest of the evening with the boys. I sure am glad that I took that time for me because I needed it.


I went last night and spent the evening with the grand babies. We went tot he cafe and had supper and I was going to spend time with Mason but my ex made sure that I didn't. He is such an asshole. So, I ended up spending it with the other three. After eating Jonathan and Christopher wanted me to play Monopoly. I really didn't want to play but I did. I told them that we would play for awhile and then whoever had the most after the time limit would win. I just played and I didn't buy many properties. I let the boys do that. It ended up that they both won in one way or the other. Jonathan won because he had the most properties and Christopher won with the most money and of course Nana lost. To bad. We had a good time and I had the hardest job trying to keep up with who had what property and who owned who what money. They enjoyed it. By this time it was almost ten so I headed to the house.

After coming home I checked my e-mails and there was nothing interesting there so I did some puzzles on the computer and then I headed to bed. I haven't been sleeping well at night but I did last night. I told Christy that I actually slept all night and she said it was due to the fact that the boys wore me out playing Monopoly and I told her she was probably right.

I had better get off here and get myself ready for work. Time is approaching quickly and I am nowhere close to being ready to go to work. So I will catch yall later.

back to the work force...

I got work up this morning by thunder, rain, and lighting. It took me forever to get back to sleep. We really need the rain. We haven't had much in a few weeks. It seemed like we had it all at one time and then we had none. We may be getting some more in the beginning of this week. It was hot yesterday. The heat index was 105 so the rain really helped cool things off.

What a bummer to have to go back to work after being off three days. Well, that is my main job. I still worked the bowling alley. We were a little busy, which surprised me since it was the holiday weekend. I wasn't busy in the snack bar. I didn't clear a dollar in tips. With weekends like that I want have spending money to take on my trip. This next week should me better because out tournament group will be back.

Before heading to work I made a trip to the bank and deposited some money and then cashed a check to give some money to Alan. He calls it his eating out money. I told him that he could use it for Riley's birthday since he has to get stuff for that.

I went to work at my regular time today and things went really good. I worked an extra four hours on Thursday and I am going to go in early tomorrow. I want have to use as much personnel time for the holiday which is good for me considering that I am trying to get as much time built up for my vacation. I will be working with school age on Thursday and three days next week. The three days that I work next week I will be getting off at three thirty. I want know what to do with my afternoons off.

After leaving work I headed to the tanning bed and tanned for about eight minutes. It is really relaxing to lay under those warm lights. If I was in there to long I probably would fall to sleep. Tomorrow I will try ten minutes and then I will take a day off. I figured that since I was going to Oregon that I should at least look like I came from the south.

A relaxing day.

Good morning everyone. It is after one so Happy 4th of July. I should be in the bed sleeping but I haven't been home very long and I have to wind down for awhile before settling in.

I slept in this morning because I didn't have to go to work and then I got up and did a load of laundry. I have a couple more loads to do tomorrow. Then I headed to Wal-mart to take some things back. After my trip to Walmart I headed back home for awhile before heading to the bowling alley.

The weather was a little cooler today. It was only in the upper nineties. The weather man said yesterday that in two weeks our weather has been over the 100 degree mark eight times and it is only June. What will July and August bring. It looks like we are in for a hot summer.

I went to the tanning bed and now I am a little red. I want be going tomorrow because they are closed but even if they weren't I would stay away. I may go on Sunday or Monday.

Riley (my nephew) has decided to stay here instead of moving back to Arizona to be with his mom. We are not sure if it was his idea or his mothers. I think he will be better off here because there is to much for him to get into in Phoenix.

Well, I am going to get off her and get some sleep. I will see you guys in about seven weeks. Have a great weekend.

Has it been that long.....

I first have to apologize to everyone that may read this. I have been awful about updating the last couple of months. I don't have an excuse except that I just haven't been doing it. I am going to really try to do better. I may try to do a different layout this weekend and spruce things up a little.

I had a good doctor's report on Monday other than the little weight that i lost and then gained back. I did ride my bike yesterday for about fifteen minutes and it didn't bother my foot, so I guess for awhile I will just do some bike riding and I went and bought me an exercise ball so I will work on it also. Maybe I can get motivated to get things going again in the right direction.

I joined a tanning club this week also. My kids think that I am crazy since I had skin cancer and I told them that if it was going to happen it wouldn't matter either way. I figured the tanning bed was the best of the two evils. I also told them that they weren't the one paying for it so bug off. I didn't think that I would like it but it is very relaxing and I usually go after I get off work. I figured that since I was from southern Alabama that I should at least look like I enjoy being out in the sun. HA! HA!

I will have surgery in two weeks on my eyes. It will be nice to see what kind of difference it will make. I am getting excited about getting it done. I will end up looking like a new woman.

I have a ling day at work tomorrow. I will be working almost thirteen hours. I just want have to take as much personnel time off for Friday. We will be closed on Friday. I haven't decided if I am going to go to the lake and spend the day with my aunt or if I am just going to hang around the house and enjoy the peace and quiet. I will make that decision sometime tomorrow.

Jason and Michelle have moved to Montgomery. I tried to get in touch with them a couple of times but it hasn't happened yet. I guess they are still trying to get settled in. It is going to be hard on them not having family around but it can be done. I did it and I was a long way from home.

Well, I better get off here and get myself in the bed or I am not going to want to get up in the morning. I will write more tomorrow and let you know how my day went. Have a great day.

I again only have a few minutes to get something jotted down before heading to bed. I have to be at work earlier in the morning so I want be up as late as I usually stay up. I have early days the rest of the week. Tomorrow will be a long day but Thursday and Friday I get ot leave at two thirty because I am working in the kitchen.

The weather is just plain hot. Today it was 98 with the heat index around 105 and it isn't summer yet. The humidity has been up but not as bad as could be. I think everyone is ready for cooler weather again but we have a long way to go before that happens.

Maybe when I get out there I will find some cooler weather. I sure hope so and if nothing else at least the humidity want be as bad. I have 66 days before I fly out. Time is flying by with everything that is coming up.

All the kids are doing well. Jason will be moving in about two weeks. Christy and Chad are kind of looking for a house to buy. Maybe one day they will settle down in something that is theirs.

This is just going to be short and sweet. Not much going on around here other than working. I did take Monday off and it seems like the week has been longer. My goal was to go to my aunt's and sit around on the porch and just relax but that didn't happen. It was more running around town and helping to burn limbs. But at least I wasn't at work.

I will be glad when it is time for me to g=head out west and I can get away for awhile. Tomorrow it will only be seventy one days and that will fly by, especially since it is summertime. With all the things that I have going on it want be long.

Everyone is doing good. Jason and Michelle will be moving in a couple of weeks. Christy, Chad, and the boys are doing good. Nothing exciting going on with them. Michael and his wife are doing okay as far as I know. I don't talk to them as much.

Well, I am going to go. I have a long day tomorrow. It will be after midnight before I get in the bed.

I wanted to get this updated before the weekend started due to the fact it is going ot be a busy one with working. I have worked extra hours this week and I anm planning on taking Monday off and going out of town. I am going ot go spend the day with my aunt on the lake and just relax for the day. We may do some fishing but who knows. I am planning on going up after I get off work from the bowling alley on Sunday evening.

I got a phone call from the eye doctor and they are going to schedule my surgery for July 17th. That was the earliest that I could get it done. I will have the stitches in for about ten weeks. I sure hope that it all works out okay. I will have a new look for my 50th birthday. I hope that it will all be cleared up by the time I make the trip out there.

The weather was cooler today but that was only because it rained on and off today. We have another chance of rain tomorrow and also into the next week. At least it will bring in some cooler weather but I kind of doubt that.

Well, I am going to get off here. I have some things to get done before I hit the bed.

Het out there. I know I haven't been good lately about updating this blog. It seems like I am always working or something. There really isn't any excuse. Every time I turn around I am having problems with my computer and that is aggrevating enough. I am almost to the point to buy another towerand get this all taken care of. The one I have is about four years old, so who knows I may end up with a new one in a couple of weeks.

Everyone is getting along pretty good. Jason and his family are getting ready to move within the next couple of weeks. I sure am going to miss my babies but it will give me a place to go visit to get away from things around here.

They cut Chad's hours at his job down to 32 hours but at least he still has one. It makes him mad that they cut his hours but it is like I told him, he should be thankful that he still has a job. They should be fine since Christy ended up with about a five thousand dollar increase in her pay over the year. It always works out.

My mom seems to be doing much better. That sure is good for me because then I don't worry about her as much. Her cancer doctor gave her a good report and it seems that she is getting gooder and gooder every day.

I had to throw some of that southern slang in my conversations somewhere. I know that yall like to her me talk like that. HA! HA! HA!

Well, I am going to get off her and go visit with Alan. We hardly see each other and I want him to at least know that I am still alive.

Our weather for this great holiday has been rain, rain, and more rain. It hasn't been a total washout, but it has rained a lot this weekend. There was no big plans on my day today. I worked four hours today in the kitchen. Then I went shopping and bought me a new pair of jeans and the boys some flip flops.

After I got home Christy called me from her work and asked me if I could go get her dad because he was broke down and of course I did. I know one thing the ride with him today confirmed that I would never go back to him. He is such an asshole. He doesn't treat anyone with respect and thinks that everyone should bow down to him and do things when he wants then done. I did not let him get the best of me today because I was ready with his smart remarks and I would throw one back at him when I thought it was worth it. He needs to learn how to treat a lady because he thinks that his wife should be at his beck and call. I told him that it sounded like me that he wanted someone that he could just lock up and be there when he wanted them. I am just so thankful that I am not in that situtation anymore. Other than his uncalled for remarks at time he was pleasant(as pleasant as he can be) most of the time.

Dennis, I know that tomorrow could be a hard day but it will be okay. Hold your head up high and carry one. You have friends that care for you and things will be fine. Just think you can look at other women and not get into trouble. HA! HA! HA!

I have just aboout over worked myself. By the end of the week I will have workedtwenty days in a row without a day off. It is about time to take a day off and head to the beach. You wanna go. It would be fun if this rain will ever stop.

The boys and I went bowling Saturday before I went to work and I bowled a 152 game. I was ticked about that score because I ususally don't break a 100. We had fun.

My aunt told me that she had an extra ball for me it I wanted it but I would have to have the holes redrilled but that would be no problem because one of the guys that comes to the bowling alley has a shop. The next time they come back into town I am going to head over there and pick it up. She said that it is a twelve pound ball. I sure hope I can pick it up.

I have to apolgize for not updating sooner but I have been busy with work. I will try to do better.

I guess it is time for me to update this thing from the deep south. We have had some cool weather come in this week. It has been pants weather. We went from wearing shorts in 90 degree weather to the upper sixties this week. What a change. It is getting warmer as the week comes to an end. Tomorrow we are going to be in the eighties. We have also had some good wind blowing in and who knows where that has come from but we will take cool weather anytime we can get in down here.

I went to the eye doctor about having my lids done. They did a test on them this morning and when I first went in she told me the first test I wanted to fail so of course I did. Then the did a second test with my eyelids pulled up and I did better. I go next Wednesday to see the eye doctor and then we will decide when or if I need to have the surgery. I have seen more doctor the last several months than I have almost in my life time.

Tomorrow is another day at work and then to the bowling alley. Thursdays are usually slow so I end up doing some cleaning and stocking things up. My Fridays and Saturdays are my busy days. Friday is worse than Saturday because I work all day and then I work until midnight on Friday.

My shoes that they put the wedges in and the inserts haven't done much about the pain on my heel as yet but it is still early. I hope that in the next couple of weeks I will start to tell a difference because I want to get back into my walking and I can't do it as long as my heel is killing me. I am going to give it about three weeks and then if nothing happens I may get in touch with the doctor again.

I have three months before I arrive in Lebabon. I am starting to get excited about it and it will be so glad to get away from work and to be able to enjoy some down time.

Well this southern gal is going to call it a night so ya'll have a great evening and don't work to hard the rest of the week.

Good evening for the deep south. I had a late night at the bowling alley last night. I got home around 12:30 and it was after one before I got to sleep. We stayed fairly busy last night which helped the time pass.

I got up this morning and got ready for church. I then headed to McDonald's for my breakfast and some reading time before heading to church. I have been doing this for several months on Sunday. It is my treat to myself.

After church I decided to go out to eat again by myself. I had great company, myself. I went to a steak house called Logan's. It is very southern. You have roasted peanuts on the tables and the shells go on the floor. I have eaten at one before with Michael. I had a three dollar coupon off a ten dollar meal so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a steak, baked tator, and a salad. It was a good meal.

I then called my boss at the bowling alley because the had a tounament going on this afternoon and the boy that was suppose to be there had not gotten ther by 1:15 and Bill told me to go ahead and come in. So I worked for about three hours and I ended up with about six dollars in tips and we don't serve beer on Sundays. The boy finally showed up at three and he said that he thought he was suppose to be there at three. Bill sent him home and told him that he already had it covered for the afternoon.

The rain is still going on. I am ready for it to stop for awhile. It has rained for the last three days. It looks like we may be at the end of it. The weather is suppose to get a little cooler and it was a little cooler this evening. Our weather has been in the ninties and they say we are going to be in the seventies for a few days, what a welcoming change. To bad it isn't the middle of July.

Sometimes I would like to strangle my nephew. He doesn't know how to keep his hands off things that don't belong to him. You would think at seventeen that you would know better. I went into the bathroom and he had taken my shaving cream out of the cabinet and was playing with it and of course when I asked him if he did it he lied to me. I know that he messed with it because it had cream everywhere abd it wasn't where I usually keep it. He will do that with shampoo and other things to. He gets into the tub and plays with it. My grandchildren even know better. He is going back to live with his mother in the summer and maybe then I can keep things in the bathroom. Even if I keep them in my room he will come in and get them. I told him to leave my stuff alone that I don't mess with his stuff and i expect the same from him. That is my complaint for the day...I shouldn't have to hide things but with him you do.

Hey from southern Alabama. I will be seeing the city of Lebanon in a little over three months or 98 days, which ever sounds sooner. Ha1 HA1 I know they are the same. Just because I live in the south does not mean that I am a dumb blonde. No comments from the peanut gallery either.

It looks like I will be going to work in the rain, which means we probably will not be busy abd that makes for a long evening. Maybe if it does rain it want be for very long.

There isn't much to talk about around here. I got up this morning and cleaned my room and washed a load of clothes. How exciting. I then played around on the computer and chatted with a friend until he had company show up. Then I headed to Wal-mart to pick up a few things and now I am back on the computer chatting with my son or daughter-in-law. I am not sure which one it is.

Well, as I end this I need to say good-bye until later. It is time for me to head out to the bowling alley and have some fun. Have a great one and be good.

What news can I bring to you from the deep south. It is getting warm here but you probably already figured that out. So unto what is going om with my children. I would fill you in on myself except there isn't nothing exciting happening to me. So to my kids.

Christy turned down the job at Ft Rucker because CVS matched what she will be making and she wasn't going to get any more from the government even though she had more experience. Her dad thinks she made a bad choice but I on the other hand think she made a good choice because they really work with her at CVS and there isn't much that she ask for that she doesn't get. She has a good boss at CVS. But is doesn't matter what we think because it is her and Chad's decision.

Jason and Michelle have decided not to move until the end of June even though they are paying rent on two places. Sometimes young people make no sense. I am glad they ar4 staying a little longer but I just wished they would have thought about wha they did before they did it. But it will work out anyway.

Micheal and Erin are doing fine. I don't talk to them very much unless I call them. Michael has to go to Virginia next week for his work. He will be in Farfax, VA for a week. He never knows where he will be traveling with the job that he has.

We had a beautiful day today. It was in the 90's with a little wind. They say that we are going to get some more rain which means we will be stuck inside at work and that isn't good at times.

There isn't much going on around here. Jason and his family are gettig ready to relocate to Montgomery. They will be about two hours from me. I am sure going to miss having them close. Especially the grand babies. Christy had her last physical at Ft Rucker this afternoon. She has been offered a job at the pharmacy as a tech. I think she is going to take it and she did find out that it was a government job. She will have great benefits and her pay will increase about five thousand dollars more than she is making right now.

Chad is still trying to get on with Ft Rucker fire department. He hasn't heard anything yet but he did find out that they were still interviewing for the positions. Maybe he will get on too. The only bad thing about him getting on is that he would take a cut in pay for awhile. But sometimes you have to do that to get in a better job. If the both are working a federal job they will have it made.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you that are mothers and if your are not then happy day to you too. My day was spent washing clothes and mopping floors. I haven't seen any on my children today. It wasn't very much fun. It was kind of depressing. I have only heard from one of my children and it wasn't until about two o'clock. It sounds like I am having a pity party. So much for that.

Business at the bowling alley seems to be picking up some. The place had been let go for so long thatit was really run down and the new managment is trying to get things back up but it is a slow process. I stayed pretty busy last night. I got home a little after midnight and it was around one before I was settled down enough that I could relax and get some sleep.

Working there is a lot different than what I do during the day. It is a nice change and there are some strange people out there. I haven't even been able to play pool are bowl a game. I guess I am going to have to go up there on my day off and play.

I got my first paycheck from my part time job and it wasn't to bad to be part time. I was hoping that it would fall on the week that I din't get paid from my full time job but that didn't happen. Oh well, life goes on.

I had a good report at the doctor and so did my mom. We are a couple of tough chicks. I go on the 20th of this monthand seee about having my eyes done. I figured I may as well get it all done this year. I figured at 50 that I can become a new woman. HA! HA!

Our weather here is getting hotter but the humidity still isn't to bad yet but it is coming. It was in the ninties this weekend. Sounds like some good beach weather. I may have to take a day off and head to the beach. Maybe one afternoon and then I can sit there and watch the sunset go down.

This is going to be short and sweet just like me. HA! HA! I have to get up extra early tomorrow to head to the doctor. I have to be in Birmingham by ten in the morning, which means I need to leave Dothan at least by six. YUCK!!!

I went yesterday and had my feet fitted for inserts and boy are those things expensive. They are going to cost around $400. The told me that the did not think that my insurance would cover it. So I got on the phone with Kesha (she does our insurance for us at the hospital) and she told me that she would send a letter to the insurance company and let them know that the hospital does not do this typr of work and that they should take care of the inserts. I sure hope so.

I also went to the eye clinic and set up an appointment with the suregon to see about having my eyelids done also. I figured I may as well get it all do this year and then maybe I can rest the next year.

Hey I may look like a new person after getting all this stuff done. If nothing else it will make me fill better.

Not much went on today. The day started out with rain and it was here to stay for the day. It finally stopped late this afternoon. The sun tried to come out but there wasn't enough daylight to allow that to happen.

I received a call from Michael this afternoon and he isn't going to get to meet me for lunch on Thursday. He has a class that he has to do for three days and so I guess I will just stop and have lunch by myself. That sometimes gets old but life goes on.

I guess since I want get to have lunch with Michael I may just do a little shopping while I am in Birmingham. It just depends on how I feel at the time. I have to be back in town by seven because I have to go to work.

I get to go get fitted for my inserts tomorrow. Wow, what fun. I sure hope it works because I am tired of my heel hurting me. I am ready to get back into my walking again. Hopefully I will be able to get back on it within a month or so.

Now that I updated some pictures maybe I can get my blog updated. Not much going on around here other than working and enjoying some nice weatrher. We had a little rain shower this afternoon. It was needed. Tomorrow should be another warm day.

I am enjoying my second job at the bowling alley. It sometime gets slow and then it is boring but for the most part it is fun. You get to meet every kinds of people. We had a small league come in on Saturday. They will be coming for the next few weeks so that will keep us a little busy. We get a lot of people coming in to play pool. There is six pool tables and 24 bowling lanes. We have a few arcade games and of course the area that I work in, the all famous snack bar....

I will be going to Birmingham on Thursday for my six month checkup for the cancer and hopefully I will be able to have lunch with Michael. Then I get to head back to be able to go to work Thursday evening. It is going to be a long day.

I will be able to keep my updates coming since I have got my computer going again. It is great to have it back going again. It keeps me from messing up Alan's. HA! HA!

Howdy yall!!! How are things in your neck of the woods? It is getting warm down here. The weather has been in the middle eighties, but very nice. The humidity is low which is great for us in the lower part of Alabama.

My computer part still has not come in but maybe soon. I had to order a power source for the computer. I will be glad to get the computer back to going again. I miss having it in my room to where I can get to it at anytime. I sure hope it will get in soon.

I have a long day today. I will be working my regular job then off to the bowling alley this evening. I work there until nine thirty tonight. It is extra money and it isn't very hard work. It is kind of nice to do something that is different than what I do on a daily bases.

I went to the doctor yesterday about my foot and I have a heel spur and a bone spur. They are going to fit me for an insert in my shoes first and then if that doesn't work then they said that they would have to put me in a cast for awhile. The last result would be surgery and I am going to try to keep from having to do that one. I hope the inserts will do the job. The doctor also told me that he wanted me to do no walking until we got this straightened out becuase I could do more damage than I already have, so I guess my walking will have to cease for awhile.

I have a few minutes before I have to get ready for work so I thought that I would do some updating. The weather here is wonderful. It has been in the eighties and the humidity has been low too. It is great beach weather but I have no time to get to the beach. I may have to just take a day off of work and just go.

As I said on my last report the boys had a great time. We saw baby alligators, snakes, lizards, bees, turtles and all that boy stuff. After we did that we went to feed the ducks. We feed them two loaves of bread and when we started we had turtle show up also. It was pretty cool to see the turtle come up from the bottom to eat bread. The boys had a really great time. We then went to the gift shop and they all picked out something, that cost me $36 bucks but that was okay. Jonathan and Mason picked out seven foot stuffed snakes and Christopher picked out a tiger outfit that had a mask, paws and a clip on tail. We left there and headed to Mcdonalds for lunch. After lunch we went to moms for a couple of hours. Christopher and Mason spent must of there time crawing through the doggie doors with the snake. They were a hoot. The boys were great for me. We had no problems at all and it was fun.

I go see the foot doctor in the morning. I sure hope they can figure out what is wrong with my heel. I also got the test results for the bacteria that was in my stomach and it came back normal. Then I get to go Birmingham next week for my six month checkup for my cancer. Maybe things are going to start getting better.

My job at the bowling alley is going okay. I am only working about fifteen hours a week and that is enough for right now. I have to get my body used to these late nights and they really aren't that late. I usually work Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday is my late night and it is only until twelve thirty so it isn't to bad. It gives me something to do besides sit at home.

Dennis, I am glad that were are friends too. I am glad that we can continue to be friends even though you and Julie aren't together. You have to have someone from down here that can keep you up on all the drama that happens to our lives. It can be like a soap opera around here sometimes.

I ordered the part for my computer and it should be in within a week or so. So maybe I will be back in business in the next week or so. I will be glad to get my computer back so that I don't have to use Alan's all the time.

This is only going to be short and sweet as I need to get to work early. I will write more later today. I need to get to work and do my CPR test so that I can take the hands on on Wednesday.

My other job is going well. It is really boring when it is slow but it gives me time to get other things done, like cleaning out cabinets that haven't been done in years.

The boys and I had a great time Saturday and more on that later too. The were very well behaved for me. We had no problems at all.

Well, I gotta go and get some breakfast and head to work. More later.

Now that I lost everything that I wrote two minutes ago went out with the wind I will try again. Sometimes my mind works faster thatn my hands.

As I said in the last one that I lost things have been going okay and is going to get busy around here. I start my new part time job tonight. I will be working at the bowling alley for a few hours a week. My stepdad asked me if I had to wear a mini skirt and a halter top to work there and I told him that wasn't going to happen with this gal. I will probably be putting in 15 to 20 hours a week and since I have no life I may as well work. I will let you know how I like it in a few days. I will start off in the snack bar but I am going to be cross trained in the other aresa also.

Jason has gotten a new job with Flying J close to Montgomery, Al. which meant they will be moving shortly. I am not excited about that but I told Jason that he had to do what was best for his family. He will be making about $15,000 more a year than what he is making now. I think that he said that he will probably be making around $35,000. When Michelle told Christopher and Mason that they werre going to move the two boys cried and held onto each other. It is going to be hard on them two becuase they are such good buds.

Chad smashed his finger and ended up with four stitches and is going through therapy. He may end up having surgery. They will decide that after he gets through with his therapy. He has to go to therapy for six weeks.

I am going to go see a foot doctor about my heel. It is not getting any better and I think that it might be a heel spur. I will let you know when I get the appointment.

I go on the seventh of May to Birmingham to see the doctor for a checkup on the
cancer. He wants to see me at six months and in a year. It is hard to believe thatit has already been six months since I had surgery. Time flies by.

Saturday should be an exciting day. I will have the three older boys for the day. We are going to go see some snakes, turtles, ducks and I am not sure what else they have there. It is at a park close to where my mom lives and then we are going to go by and see them for a little while. I will be wore out when I get back home. I will let you know how things go. After getting back with them I will probably end up working so it is going to be a long day.

It is hard to update when you are working extra hours and your computor ins not working right and it works when it want to. I can't always get on Alan's. I am doing the best that I can.

We had a busy weekend. It started off with a date on Friday with a very special young man. Christopher and I went to eat and then we went bowling. We had a great time.

On Saturday we went to his house and made cut-out cookies using an egg shape and decorated them for our junior church class and they were a big hit. We then built a fire and roasted marshmellows. That is the hick part of the people that live in Cottonwood. Build a fire and sit outside and shoot the breeze.

Sunday was a great day. Church then the kids had a hugh egg hunt and then to Christy"s for lunch. They kids hunted eggs again that afternoon.

Robert and his wife showed up for church and the Sunday school teacher asked me how I was with the situtation and I told him that I was great with it and that it didn't bother me. He told me that I looked and acted like I was really happy and I told him that I was. I have moved on with my life and it feels great.

Enough on that. Now I just have to get back into walking. It is hard with my heel hurting me. I may end up going to the doctor and have it checked out. I will let you know how it goes. I may start riding my bike and see how it feels.

I may be starting the bowling alley soon. It looks like it may be within the next couple of weeks. It should be fun and very different from what I am doing on my full time job.

Good day to you all. It looks like we may have some beautiful weather today. Yesterday was great but a little on the cool side.

Tomorrow is going to be filled with excitement as the kids at my work will have a Easter party, hunt eggs and see the Easter bunny. What fun they will have. They have been excited about it all week.

Then on Friday I will have Christopher for awhile. He may end up spending the night with me. I asked him if we wanted to go on a date with nana and he told me that he couldn't go until he was bigger than me so I asked him if he wanted to go bowling with me and he was all for that. So I guess the two of us will head out to the bowling alley tomorrow night. Then on Saturday we are going to make Easter cut out cookies and dye eggs. We will have a full weekend.

What a cold morning. We were in the thirties last night and that is cold when you have been in the sixties at night. It is going to be seventy today and I hope no wind. The wind was awful the last two days. It would just go right through you. Warmer weather is back on its way. YEA!!!

Not much going on around here. I went to Walmart last night and bought candy for the grandkids Easter baskets. I didn't buy much because I figured they would get enought from their parents. We are all planning on going to Christy's after church on Sunday for dinner and to let the kids hunt eggs. It should be fun. I will make sure that I take pictures to show off.

I checked on parking at the airport and that doesn't look like it is going ot work out. It would cost me over $140. I am now looking at staying at a motel and seeing if I can leave my car there or I may end up doing the same thing I did last tme and leave it with my cousin and just let her take me to the airport. If I do that then I can leave my car with her and I know that it will be taken care of. I am not sure what I am going to do as of yet but I still have a little time to decide.

What a beautiful day for a trip. I went and saw my mom today and she seemed to be doing good. She said that she has had a couple of good days. They did tell her at the doctors that she was not well enougn for them to do the upper GI on her and the colonastopy because of her breathing problems. The doctor said that he was afraid to put her to sleep. So I am not sure what she is going to do about it.

I am going ack in three weeks and take the boys to a place called turtle cove and let them see different animals and feed the ducks. That should be a fun trip. I must be losing my mind to take three boys. I am going to make sure that they play hard so that I will have a quite ride home.

My trip today went really well until I stopped at Walmart to get some cough medicine and I locked my keys up in my car. I thought they landed in my purse and they landed beside them. This is the second time I have done this since I bought this car. I am going to see if I can find a metal place on my car that I can leave the key under my car somewhere. Maybe I can find some metal somewhere. It ended up costing me thirty two dollars. Boy what some expensive cough medicine. Oh well, life goes on.

I woke up this morning to rain, lightening, and thunder again. It looks like we are in for about four or five inches again today. I am ready for some sunshine. We are suppose to have some on Friday and Saturday and then rain again on Sunday. Then it is going to turn cold again. They are talking in the thirties at night. Burr, we don't want that.

They are letting schools out at one today because of the flooding problems. The grounds are so wet right not the water has nowhere to go.

I did go to the bowling alley last night and talked to the guy that is the stand in manager and he said that until they finished remodeling that they were not going to hire many people. I told him that was fine with me because I had a full time job already and that I wasn't in any hurry. So if I decide to take it it probably want start until around May. We shall wait and see.

Since there isn't much going on around here I had better jump in the shower befroe the bad weather comes back. I hear thunder in the distance now so I will write more later. Be good and have a great day.

Another wet day in Alabama. We have seen a lot of rain over the last week. We had over six inches on Saturday and then a beautiful day on Sunday but a little cool. Our Monday was cloudy but no rain and then we started back again with rain on Tuesday. We have to worry about flooding in some of the areas around here. We are going to get more today and tomorrow and the grounds are already soaked. Oh well, life goes on.

Jonathan is coming over this morning because they are not starting school until ten today due to all the rain. Go figure that. So since his mom and dad have to be at work before ten and I don't, I am going ot take him to school. We will probably go by McDonalds first for breakfast. He called and asked me what was for breakfast but his mom said that he really wanted to go get breakfast, so of course we will.

There isn't much going on around here. I am going to go talk to someone at the bowling alley about a part time job on the weekends. I would be working in hte snack bar if I decided to take it. I am not sure as of yet. I am just going to go after work and check it out and then I will decide. I like having my weekends but it would be nice to have the extra money too, so we will see. I will let you know how things go.

Hey everyone. I hope this finds all of you doing good. We are better now that the rain is gone. We had betweeen eight to ten inches of rain the last three days. Now it is going to be suynny for a couple of days and then back to the rain again in the middle of the week. What fun. NOT.

I just got through booking my flight to Oregon. I will be leaving Birmingham around lunch and landing in Portland around suppertime. I leave on August 22 and I am there until Sept 5. Now I have to wait for the conformation to come through. It cost $246 round trip. Now I need to save some more money up to spend.

Things are going really well right now. I did go get my curls. Lots of them. Now I have to get use to them all over again. It was nice to be pampered even if I have to do it myself.

Now That I have the ticket booked I can start getting excited about coming out again and I hope this time it is going to be warmer. This is my gift to me for my 50th birthday.

This up-date is for one of my special friends and you know who you are....It has been hard getting the up-dates done with my computor being messed up again. I am working on the situtation.

I ex wanted me to sign a quick title deed to some property that is both of our names and I called my lawyer yesterday and he told me to tell the other lawyer thatI would sign it if they would draw up another paper that stated that I received half of what the land sold for and I am sure that Robert is not going to go for that, but as my lawyer said it doesn't matter to me one way or another because I am not any more if I sign it or if I don't. When I called Robert's lawyer he told me that he could not draw up the paperwork that he was only hired to do the deed and then he poceeded to tell me the benefits of me signing it and tried to put the guilt on me and then I called my lawyer again and he told me that his lawyer was bullshitting me about the paper work. My lawyer told me to call him back again and tell him that he needed to get ahold of his client and tell him that unless there was paperwork drawn up that I was to get half of it anf that I was to be present when the sale was done that they could just quit bothering me. So the ball was thrown back into there field. I have been expecting an ugly phone call from my ex but I am going to let it go to my voice mail and then I will just save the message. I am not going to back done and let him think that his treats are going to get to me. I told my lawyer that I may end needing him again and he said to just let him know. After this is over then the only reason that I should have to talk to theat man is if it is about our children or grandchildren. So we will see where this battle will end.

Our weather here has been great but wew are going to get some more rain in later in the week. We really need the rain to get rid of some of this pollen. My car is orange with a yellow tint. You could spray it off every day and it would still be yellow.

I am getting a new hair do on Thursday. I am going to go get some curls put back into my hair. I will have to get pictures and show everyone. I figured I may as well pamper myself because no one else will. HA! HA!
