Hey everyone. I hope this finds all of you doing good. We are better now that the rain is gone. We had betweeen eight to ten inches of rain the last three days. Now it is going to be suynny for a couple of days and then back to the rain again in the middle of the week. What fun. NOT.

I just got through booking my flight to Oregon. I will be leaving Birmingham around lunch and landing in Portland around suppertime. I leave on August 22 and I am there until Sept 5. Now I have to wait for the conformation to come through. It cost $246 round trip. Now I need to save some more money up to spend.

Things are going really well right now. I did go get my curls. Lots of them. Now I have to get use to them all over again. It was nice to be pampered even if I have to do it myself.

Now That I have the ticket booked I can start getting excited about coming out again and I hope this time it is going to be warmer. This is my gift to me for my 50th birthday.

This up-date is for one of my special friends and you know who you are....It has been hard getting the up-dates done with my computor being messed up again. I am working on the situtation.

I ex wanted me to sign a quick title deed to some property that is both of our names and I called my lawyer yesterday and he told me to tell the other lawyer thatI would sign it if they would draw up another paper that stated that I received half of what the land sold for and I am sure that Robert is not going to go for that, but as my lawyer said it doesn't matter to me one way or another because I am not any more if I sign it or if I don't. When I called Robert's lawyer he told me that he could not draw up the paperwork that he was only hired to do the deed and then he poceeded to tell me the benefits of me signing it and tried to put the guilt on me and then I called my lawyer again and he told me that his lawyer was bullshitting me about the paper work. My lawyer told me to call him back again and tell him that he needed to get ahold of his client and tell him that unless there was paperwork drawn up that I was to get half of it anf that I was to be present when the sale was done that they could just quit bothering me. So the ball was thrown back into there field. I have been expecting an ugly phone call from my ex but I am going to let it go to my voice mail and then I will just save the message. I am not going to back done and let him think that his treats are going to get to me. I told my lawyer that I may end needing him again and he said to just let him know. After this is over then the only reason that I should have to talk to theat man is if it is about our children or grandchildren. So we will see where this battle will end.

Our weather here has been great but wew are going to get some more rain in later in the week. We really need the rain to get rid of some of this pollen. My car is orange with a yellow tint. You could spray it off every day and it would still be yellow.

I am getting a new hair do on Thursday. I am going to go get some curls put back into my hair. I will have to get pictures and show everyone. I figured I may as well pamper myself because no one else will. HA! HA!

What a wet weekend we had. It rained from Friday through Sunday and then the sun came back out and we have had some more beautiful weather.

I am doing good from my surgery. The brusing is almost gone and I will get the stitches out on Friday. My eye has turned many diferent colors and it is now a little yellowish. I don't think that the scar is going to be to bad.

Work has been going pretty good. I go in today to do my evaluations with my boss. I am sure that it will be good. I usually get the highest that you can get. It want make that much difference in my check but every little bit helps.

I do apoligize to my readers for not updating as often as I was before but things happen. I am still having problems with my computor. My brother thinks that it might be the power cord. I think that is what he said. When I am on the computer it will just quit right in the middle of me doing something. Another thing to get checked out.

To my people out there I will try to up-date more often. DENNIS!!!

Another beautiful day in Alabama. The weather has been just wonderful this whole week. It is coming to an end this weekend. We are going to have some rain come in tomorrow and it looks like it will be with us most of the weekend. What a great way to start the weeekend. It gives me a reason to lay around and do nothing.

Christy and I did make it to breakfast but not to Cracker Barrel. She was to slow getting ot my house so we ended up at Waffle House. Breakfast was good and of course mom paid but then I told her that I would. Then off to the doctor.

Surgery went really well and quite fast. We got there around eight thirty and checked in and we were walking out around ten thirty. The mananged to get all the cancer on the first try which was great for me. I ended up with seven or eight stitches. It will probably be a pretty good scare. I call it my battle wound. I am just so thankful that it was caught early becuase it could have been really bad especially in the area that it was in.

How is things in your area. Ours is great. We have had a beautiful warm week with very little humidity. We should have one more day of good weather and then in comes the rain for a few days. That's okay because we have really enjoyed the warmer weather.

Tomorrow morning they will be cutting out the cancer on my face. I hope they get it on the first try so that I want have to be there all day. They said I could be there for a couple of hours if they get it the first time. If not it could end up being half of the day. I am shooting for a couple of hours. I am leaving it in God's hands.

If I feel alright I may go see my mom on Saturday. We will have to see how things will go.

My little buddy, Christopher is going to come over tomorrow night and take care of his Nana. He told his mom that someone had to be there to take care of her and that he was going to do anything that his Nana needed him to do. My grandsons will take care of me. I want really ned anyone to take care of me but it makes his feel important.

I will let you know how things turn out tomorrow afternoon. I am sure that things will go well.

Well I better get some rest. I have to get up early tomorrow. Christy and I are going to go have breakfast at Cracker Barrel before I go to the doctor.

Another beautiful day!! The weather was just perfect. We are all enjoying this nice weather. I did get my mile walk in today. I went for a walk on my lunch break. I can tell that I haven't walked in awhile but I am really trying to get back on track. It is hard getting back to it after not doing it for so long.

I called the doctor's office this morning to find out what I needed to do for Friday and they said nothing different except for no make-up and to bring something to do and something to keep me warm. They said that the worse thing was just waiting for the results to come back. They said that once they got the results back and they have gotten all the cancer then they can close up the incision. I will be at the office for about four hours.

I am going to try and get my car cleand tomorrow. I was going to do it this morning but it didn't get sone because I did several other errands. I did manage to get everything that was on my list done today.

Since I haven't up-dated over the weekend and some people are getting on to me I guess I better get-r-done. There isn't much going on around here other thsn we are enjoying some beautiful weather. It was in the mid seventies yesterday and today and it looks like we will have the same kind of weather for most of the week.

The baby is still having some breathing problems. Christy said today that he was finally getting some junk coming up from his lungs so maybe he is on the mend. She has to take him back to the doctor on Friday after I finish up with my surgery. It is going to be a busy day.

Since the time has changed I will be able to get some walking in before it gets dark. I am ready to get back to the grinding stone. So tomorrow starts me back into my exercise program. I just hope that my foot holds out. I have still been having trouble with my heal and the doctor gave me some medicine last week but it doesn't seem to help much.

My last doctor appointment was a good one. It was good to get some good news for a change. It seemed that everytime I went it was bad news. I still have some work to do but at least it is better.

Christy, Michelle, and I went to several yard sales yesterday. Michelle found several outfits for her kids and so did Christy. We all went to Applebees for lunch and then back out again. We had a blast cutting up without no children or men tagging along. I think we are going to do it again soon. Not that I think anything is wrong with children or men.

My Daughter-in-law signed me up for a Christian dating service and I told her that I was going to get her and that I didn't need any help. She tought it was funny. I'll get her back someway. When I told Christy she also thought it was funny. I don't know what i am going to do with those two girls. Love them.

Hey out there...the weather out here was good. It was seventy today. Tomorrow it is going to be in the middle seventies and by Sunday it is going to be eighty. We are have great weather right now, but who knows how long it will last.

I went to Robert's sisters funeral yesterday and it was very short. I sometimes felt like an outsider but that is alright to. The ones that make me fell like that aren't worth my time anyway. I had to go back to work after the funeral but I went out to the house after I got off work and spent a couple of hours with family that I have not seen in over 15 years. It was good to visit with them and we are going to keep in touch.

I ended up leaving there around eight on my way to the ER becuase Chrity had to take Benjamin in because of his breathing. He is having to take breathing treatments now. They are not sure what it is right now but hopefully they will find out tomorrow after taking him back to the doctor. They think that it may be seasonal but they aren't sure yet.

I am so glad to get my computor back going again. I ened up having to replace a part but at least it is up and running again. It took me longer to get Alan to get on it than it did for me to get the piece. But that is alright too.

I tried to get off today but that didn't happen. I wanted to go visit some friends that were from Virginia and they were only about three hours from here and only about ten minutes from my mom. We don't have enough subs to keep up with everybody wanting off but that will change in a couple of weeks becase they are hiring two or three more. We need some good workers that are willing to work.

I thought I would do a little updating before I ran an errand this evening. Not much going around here other than working and watching children.

Tomorrow will be another day. I am going to go to Robert's older sisters funeral. It is at two tomorrow afternoon. I hope that Robert doesn't make a scene. Maybe he want.

Christy had to take the baby to the doctor today. He was wheezing pretty bad. The gave him a breathing treatment and they brought Christy a Nebulizer out to their house this afternoon. They aren't sure if it is asthma or something else. He seems to be doing a little better this evening.
