Gosh has it been that long since I have updated. Most of that was due to the fact that my computor was not working right but I should not have that problem anymore since I have a new one now.

All is well here other than it is a little colder than I would like it, I am ready for some warmer weather. I don't like cold weather.

My mom had a bad week this past one. She has bad days and good days. I will be going back to see her in a couple of weeks. I am trying to go at least every six weeks.

I went ot the doctor today and all is well. My blood work came back good and my blood pressure was great.

I need to get some bills paid. Have a great day.

I said that I was going to try and post on a regular basis so here goes nothing. There isn't a lot going on around here other than working all the time. I will have Christmas Day off and the first of January, but other than that it is work, work, work.

On Saturday I will probably be going to spend the day with the boys. We are planning on spending the morning making cookies and candy. Sounds like fun. This is right up Christopher's alley because he loves to cook.

Mom seems to be doing better every day. She just found out the she has cataracts and she will be going to the the doctor the end of this month. She said that is the reason that she hasn't been able to see very well. She did tell me the they went out to a Mexican restaurant last week and that was good to hear. Slowly but surely she is getting better.

I have most of my Christmas shopping done. I have only a couple of gifts left to buy and then I get to shop for mom and Alan. It is just easier for me to do it because I know what the kids like. I will probably do some of it this weekend.

since I am getting scolded about updating I guess maybe I better try and get this thing done. It seems that I am never at home and I just can't find the time to be on the computer like I did before. So to all my readers I apologize. Maybe I will get better, no probably not.

Where do I start. Mom is at home and doing a little better. She still has a long way to go. The doctor told her it was going to be a slow come back and they were right. She is getting around better and she is talking more. She finally pulled out of some of the depression which has really helped her. She went to the doctor yesterday to discuss all the medicines she was on and they took her off some of them and changed some of them so we are hoping that will held with some of the things that she is going through. I as planning on going back up in a couple of weeks.

I had surgery on my thumb yesterday and things went well. I was back at work today. It was a little hard but I managed to make it through the day. The hardest thing is changing diapers and picking them up. You don't realize how much you use your thumb until you can't.

All the kids are doing good. Just staying busy with the holidays coming up. I spent Thanksgiving with Christy, Chad and the boys. The boys and I cooked while Chad and Christy worked. We are a late dinner.

The day after Thanksgiving Christy and I hit the stores and shopped. I had to go to work at 12 and she had to be home by 11 but we had a good time. She managed to get most of the boys Christmas finished and I did to. I also bought for myself. I bought me a new camera and a new television. It was nice just spending the morning together without children.

I am planning on trying to get the rest of my shopping done this weekend. It makes it hard because I am buying for Mom and Alan also. So I ma having to keep it all separate. They decided to let me do it since I like to shop. It is more fun spending their money.

I talked to Johnny last night and he said that mom had gone to the doctor and that only forty percent of her heart was working and that it was going to take a long time for her to come back. She is still in the extended care and they are doing physical therapy on her. It is just a slow process. Sometimes when I talk to her I can understand her and then other times I don't have any idea what she is talking about. Johnny thought that maybe she had a stroke but the doctor doesn't think so. They did some blood workup to check her medicine and to make sure that they are all working together like they are suppose to.

She said that she was coming home on Monday but that want happen. She is still not ready physically. I am going up on Thursday and spend the day with her and my sister. Maybe we will have more news then.

Christy and Chad are on there way to see Michael for the night because Christopher has to be in Birmingham at eight in the morning for an appointment for his hernia. The baby is with me right now but I will be taking him to Chad's dad in a little while for him to spend the night because I have to work tomorrow.

Chad has another flare up of his MRSA and he needs to go to the doctor but he hasn't. If he isn't careful he will be back in the hospital.

I go to the doctor tomorrow to have my thumb looked at. I am sure that they are going to want to do surgery. We will wait and see what they say.
