HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you that are mothers and if your are not then happy day to you too. My day was spent washing clothes and mopping floors. I haven't seen any on my children today. It wasn't very much fun. It was kind of depressing. I have only heard from one of my children and it wasn't until about two o'clock. It sounds like I am having a pity party. So much for that.

Business at the bowling alley seems to be picking up some. The place had been let go for so long thatit was really run down and the new managment is trying to get things back up but it is a slow process. I stayed pretty busy last night. I got home a little after midnight and it was around one before I was settled down enough that I could relax and get some sleep.

Working there is a lot different than what I do during the day. It is a nice change and there are some strange people out there. I haven't even been able to play pool are bowl a game. I guess I am going to have to go up there on my day off and play.

I got my first paycheck from my part time job and it wasn't to bad to be part time. I was hoping that it would fall on the week that I din't get paid from my full time job but that didn't happen. Oh well, life goes on.

I had a good report at the doctor and so did my mom. We are a couple of tough chicks. I go on the 20th of this monthand seee about having my eyes done. I figured I may as well get it all done this year. I figured at 50 that I can become a new woman. HA! HA!

Our weather here is getting hotter but the humidity still isn't to bad yet but it is coming. It was in the ninties this weekend. Sounds like some good beach weather. I may have to take a day off and head to the beach. Maybe one afternoon and then I can sit there and watch the sunset go down.

This is going to be short and sweet just like me. HA! HA! I have to get up extra early tomorrow to head to the doctor. I have to be in Birmingham by ten in the morning, which means I need to leave Dothan at least by six. YUCK!!!

I went yesterday and had my feet fitted for inserts and boy are those things expensive. They are going to cost around $400. The told me that the did not think that my insurance would cover it. So I got on the phone with Kesha (she does our insurance for us at the hospital) and she told me that she would send a letter to the insurance company and let them know that the hospital does not do this typr of work and that they should take care of the inserts. I sure hope so.

I also went to the eye clinic and set up an appointment with the suregon to see about having my eyelids done also. I figured I may as well get it all do this year and then maybe I can rest the next year.

Hey I may look like a new person after getting all this stuff done. If nothing else it will make me fill better.

Well, I better go and get myself into bed, tomorrow is going to be a long day. I will let you know how things go tomorrow aftger I get off work from the bowling alley. Have a great day.

Not much went on today. The day started out with rain and it was here to stay for the day. It finally stopped late this afternoon. The sun tried to come out but there wasn't enough daylight to allow that to happen.

I received a call from Michael this afternoon and he isn't going to get to meet me for lunch on Thursday. He has a class that he has to do for three days and so I guess I will just stop and have lunch by myself. That sometimes gets old but life goes on.

I guess since I want get to have lunch with Michael I may just do a little shopping while I am in Birmingham. It just depends on how I feel at the time. I have to be back in town by seven because I have to go to work.

I get to go get fitted for my inserts tomorrow. Wow, what fun. I sure hope it works because I am tired of my heel hurting me. I am ready to get back into my walking again. Hopefully I will be able to get back on it within a month or so.

Now that I updated some pictures maybe I can get my blog updated. Not much going on around here other than working and enjoying some nice weatrher. We had a little rain shower this afternoon. It was needed. Tomorrow should be another warm day.

I am enjoying my second job at the bowling alley. It sometime gets slow and then it is boring but for the most part it is fun. You get to meet every kinds of people. We had a small league come in on Saturday. They will be coming for the next few weeks so that will keep us a little busy. We get a lot of people coming in to play pool. There is six pool tables and 24 bowling lanes. We have a few arcade games and of course the area that I work in, the all famous snack bar....

I will be going to Birmingham on Thursday for my six month checkup for the cancer and hopefully I will be able to have lunch with Michael. Then I get to head back to be able to go to work Thursday evening. It is going to be a long day.

I will be able to keep my updates coming since I have got my computer going again. It is great to have it back going again. It keeps me from messing up Alan's. HA! HA!
